Cayce, SC - The Brookland-Cayce High School Education Foundation's annual membership and barbecue kick-off is Thursday, September 22, 2016. The dinner/annual membership meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the high school cafeteria at 1300 State State, Cayce SC. Tickets are $30 each; the ticket includes dinner and a 2016 Associate Membership in the Education Foundation. Tickets can be purchased online at: bchsfoundation.org.
The Brookland-Cayce High School Education Foundation (BCHSE Foundation) was established in 1997 as a non-profit, tax exempt organization to raise funds for Brookland-Cayce High School through donations of goods, services and money from corporations, business groups, foundations, and individuals.
The BCHSE Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors, composed of educational, corporate, civic, alumni, and parent leaders. The boards responsibilities are to coordinate the collection of donor funds from multiple sources, to insure the safekeeping and accurate accounting for these funds, and to approve the fair and proper disbursement of the funds.
The foundation sponsors two major fundraising events each year: The BCHSE Foundation Educators' Hall of Fame Gala in February and an annual Golf Classic in April.
