Lexington, SC - The South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person is dead following a multi-car accident Friday.
The crash occurred on I-20 Eastbound at mile marker 47 after Pond Brand Road before 7 a.m. According to Troopers at one point all lanes were blocked.
All lanes are now open.
Investigators say there are expected to be traffic problems in the area for hours. The collision remains under investigation by The South Carolina Highway Patrol.
