Lexington County now saying that one person was injured in mobile home fire Sunday near Red Bank

Red Bank, SC (Paul Kirby) Lexington County is now reporting that one person was injured and transported to a local hospital following the mobile home fire that broke out Sunday afternoon in the 100 block of Pinestraw Circle, near Red Bank. Lexington County Fire Service and EMS were dispatched just after 1:15 p.m. in reference to the fire.

According to Harrison Cahill, spokesman for Lexington County, the fire caused damages estimated at $27,000. This estimate includes the home, contents, shed, and a vehicle that also burned.

A preliminary investigation suggests that the fire began on the outside deck area of the home. LCFS officials were on the scene again on Monday morning continuing their investigating of the fire.
