West Columbia, SC (Paul Kirby) Dawn Kujawa, the public information officer for Lexington District Two, has confirmed that popular Airport High School Principal Brad Coleman and Assistant Principal Dawn Diimmler have both been placed on administrative leave. Kujawa didn’t say why the disciplinary actions were taken.
Usually, school district employees can be placed on administrative leave for any number of reasons. Most of the time, state law requires that the leave be paid unless special circumstances are found.
The school board is having a special-called meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday and a personnel matter is listed on the agenda that will be discussed during the board's executive session. These are closed to the public and the press.
