Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) Southern Visions Real Estate announced Monday the recent sale of 6.3 acres located at the corner of Old Cherokee Road and Park Road in Lexington. This transaction, valued at $631,000, between land owner Harmony Hills Development, LLC and buyer Lexington Memory Care, LLC, was executed by Southern Visions Sales Agent Rhett Kelly who represented the seller in this transaction.
The site will be the future home of Westminster Memory Care with a facility, programming, and services specially designed for residents and families impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementia. The facility will house 48 full-time residents and will also have programming for day-time only participants. Construction is expected to begin in late summer 2018.
Lexington Medical Center already has several facilities in the area. Decades ago, they acquired the old Rikard’s Nursing home which has since been renamed Lexington Extended Care. They also built a premier facility for the care of patients suffering with Alzheimer’s disease in the Lexington Medical Center’s Carroll Campbell Place, both of which are located in the 800 block of Old Cherokee Road.
