Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) A semi-truck and trailer has turned over and is blocking the westbound ramp from Sunset Blvd. to I-20 Friday morning. According to the Lexington PD, that ramp going toward Augusta is closed.
Police and firefighters are on scene and a haz-mat unit is enroute to deal with something leaking from the vehicle. Police are asking motorist to seek an alternate route to access westbound I-20 until roadway is clear. All lanes of Sunset Blvd. are open at this time as the overturned semi and trailer are on the ramp and not on Sunset Blvd. itself.
