Springdale, SC (Paul Kirby) – The new phase of the Town of Springdale’s Splash Pad has been open now for a little more than a week and it is the hit of the town. It features a great deal more than the old one which was basically a pipe with a sprinkler head on top. The new pad has a Daisey style defuser that sprays the water more evenly and water that shoots up through the pad itself giving you a two-way spray!
The pad is located in CL Benton Park next to the town hall on Platt Springs Road. It comes on at 7:00 a.m. and goes off automatically when the park closes at 8:00 p.m. There is no cost for kids to go and play, so enjoy!
