Batesburg-Leesville middle school students inducted into Jr. Beta Club

Batesburg-Leesville, SC - 48 students from B-L Middle School were inducted into the Junior Beta Club on Tuesday, October 23rd. Eligibility for membership into the B-L Middle School chapter is determined using year-end grades for fifth, sixth and seventh graders. The overall grade average has to be 90 or above with no year-end average for any class falling below an 85.

Junior Beta Club members are encouraged to serve in volunteer positions throughout the school and community. Students who volunteer at least five service hours are recognized at the B-L Middle School awards program at the end of the year.

This year’s inductees include: Jay Alewine, Tyler Altamirano, Ty Anderson, Drew Arant, Ethan Barr, Carter Bouknight, Jasia Brunson, Christian Burkett, Kylia Cannon, Emma Cogdill, Haylen Cook, Catalina Cruz, Jordyn Cushman, Raimee Davis, Ava Dawkins, Hansel Discua, Jacob Dotson, Chandler Etheredge, Kelsey Gantt, Marcie Gantt, Emily Gonzalez, Izabelle Hendry, Mia Hernandez, Matthew Howard, Ebony Jay, Joseph Jimenez, Ny’Asia Jones, Grant Kaminer, Kristofer Kirkland, Maddox Long, Chris Lopez, Haley Miranda, Amanda Moreira, Gavin Parrish, Erika Reyes, Zoey Rowe, John Sawyer, Leighlahn Scott, Jayme Sheaffer, Anna Grace Shealy, Savannah Shealy, Shayna Shore, Ashlyn Smith, Breanna Taylor, Alaina Timmerman, Brayan Villaseca-Torres, Peyton West, and Lillian Yorio.
