Batesburg-Leesville, SC - On Thursday, November 29th, B-L Middle School hosted its annual STEAM night for students and their families. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

Families were able to enjoy a delicious pizza dinner and then rotate around to classrooms that were set up with various activities such as Ozobot coding, makerspace crafts and stations where you could create your own marshmallow slingshots and lava lamp, just to name a few of the exercises. Some of the activities were also themed around the novel that students in each grade level are currently reading.
