Vehicle runs into building at Barnyard Flea Market, one in cardiac arrest when deputy arrives

Oak Grove, SC (Paul Kirby) – A vehicle ran into one of the buildings at the Barnyard Flea Market Saturday afternoon. The crash happened just after 4:30 p.m. According to callers reporting the accident, the vehicle struck the building that’s deemed Row M.

A Lexington County Deputy arrived on the scene of the wreck quickly. That deputy reported that there was an individual on the scene that was in cardiac arrest. Firefighters pulled up and CPR was started. An advanced life support ambulance from Lexington County arrived and paramedics began directing the care of the patient. No one has said whether anyone was injured other than the occupant of the vehicle. The current condition of that patient hasn’t been made available.

Firefighters left the scene at 5:18 p.m. We will try and update this story as we receive additional information.
