Lexington, SC - The Lexington Police Department would like to notify commuters that they will be conducting several Public Checkpoints on Monday, August 12, 2019.
Officers will be conducting the Public Safety Checkpoints in response to collision incidents, Citizen Traffic Complaints, and previous enforcement in this area focused on speeding and unsafe driving practices. Officers will be checking driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, and insurance requirements.
