Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) – The County of Lexington announced this week that all Lexington County Public Libraries will be closed Friday, September 27th for Staff Education Day. During this training, the library staff will gather together and work to expand their knowledge and skills. This will allow them to better help the community in the future.
For those of you who would still like to access the libraries’ many online resources like Hoopla Digital and OverDrive for Libraries, those will still be available. These services allow users to instantly borrow digital movies, music, eBooks and more, 24/7 with just their library card.
Friday will be the only day the system is closed for this training and all branches will return to their normal schedules the following day. For more information go to the system’s website at www.lexcolibrary.com.
