Lexington, SC (Paul Kirby) - The Town of Lexington held a ribbon cutting recently for their new Maintenance Operations Center. This will also be the new headquarters for the Town’s Utilities Department.

The new facility is comprised of three buildings. It sits on 12 acres of a 22-acre tract the town owns at 284 Bruner Road, Lexington. Town officials say that the new facility will help the town better serve their more than 29,000 water and sewer customers in the area.

According to the town, there are three buildings total. The main office building is 8400 square feet and features an employee training and break room. There are also two secured storage buildings that house equipment for the Utilities Department and other departments.
