Fulmer Middle School teacher charged with drug crimes in Fort Mill  on Thanksgiving Day

West Columbia, SC (Paul Kirby) – A Fulmer Middle School 7th grade science teacher was arrested Thanksgiving Day by police in Fort Mill, SC. He was charged with trafficking prescription drugs.

The Fort Mill Herald reported Aleksandar Doughty, 23, was caught while driving under the influence and was trafficking Xanax, a schedule IV prescription drug used to treat anxiety. Police also charged him with possession of marijuana.

According to a Lexington School District Two’s district spokesperson, Doughty has been placed on administrative leave.
