Swansea High School Clinical Studies Students Earn BLS Certification

Swansea, SC - Swansea High School Clinical Studies students recently earned their Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association. The BLS Certification is an industry recognized certification that most health care facilities require for employment. Students will be able to demonstrate the foundational skills needed to administer BLS during an emergency performing the operation of an Automated External Defibrillator and high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants.

Students also earned their OSHA 10 certification which provides employees training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in healthcare industry.
