Lexington County holding blood drive in memory of firefighter who gave his life while serving others

Lexington, SC – Lexington County Fire Service Eng. Paul Quattlebaum dedicated his life to saving others. Oct. 4, 2019: on that date, Paul selflessly answered his final call to serve the residents of this County. By evening, the county was in mourning and Paul was gone.

In his memory of his exceptional life and desire to serve others, the County of Lexington is asking that everyone who physically can, take this moment to honor Paul's legacy by donating blood.The Lexington County Fire Service will be hosting a blood drive in Paul's memory on February 10th, 2020. It will be held at the Department of Emergency Services Gym, located at 432 Ball Park Road in Lexington, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
