West Columbia, SC – The West Columbia Police Department is asking the public for their help in identifying the vehicle that is in the attached picture.
On July 14, 2020, Investigators of the West Columbia Police Department began an investigation into the murder that occurred on North Lucas St. in West Columbia. Coroner Margaret W. Fisher later identified the victim as 48 year-old Michael James Williams of North Lucas Street.
Over the course of that investigation, video surveillance footage revealed a vehicle of interest at the victim’s apartment complex, Riverside Retreat Apartments in the early and late evening hours of July 12, 2020. Law enforcement wishes to locate the owners and occupants of this mid 90’s Chevrolet Silverado. The truck appears to have one fog light and multiple stickers on the rear window. The truck has a silver toolbox in the bed.
