Attorney General Wilson announces the arrests of 2 men on unrelated child sexual abuse charges

Lexington, SC 02/14/2023 - South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced Monday the arrests of two Lexington men on unrelated child sexual abuse material charges. Wilson’s office staff said that Timothy Jacob Sullivan, age 42, of Lexington, and Billy Bruce Price, age 88, also of Lexington have been charged with four counts connected to the sexual exploitation of minors. Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff's Department made the arrests in these unrelated cases. Investigators with the Attorney General's Office, also a member of the state's ICAC Task Force, assisted with these investigations.

According to Wilson, investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) which led them to both Sullivan and Price. Investigators said Sullivan and Price distributed files of child sexual abuse material.

Sullivan was arrested on February 6, 2023. He is charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, second degree, a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count.

Price was arrested on February 9, 2023. He is charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, second degree, a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count. Both cases will be prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office.

Attorney General Wilson stressed all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
