Brookland-Cayce High School athlete declares his intent to play baseball at the college level

West Columbia, SC 05/10/2023 - A Brookland-Cayce High School athlete declared his intent to play baseball at the college level.

Hayden Thomas signed a letter of intent Wednesday to play baseball with the College of Charleston. He participated in a signing ceremony in the school’s Hall of Fame Room attended by coaches, teammates, fellow students, family members, and faculty and staff.

Thomas becomes the third Brookland-Cayce Class of 2023 baseball player so far to sign a letter of intent. Ty Marshall signed with Clemson University and Parker Mergo signed with Newberry College.
