Lake Murray, SC 10/30/2023 - The Capital City/Lake Murray Country (CCLMC) Visitors Center will
host its annual Holiday Open House & Gift Shop Sale on Thursday, November 14,
2024. The Holiday Open House & Gift Shop Sale will take place from 10 a.m. – 4:30
p.m. at the Lake Murray Country Visitors Center at 2184 North Lake Drive near the Lake
Murray Dam.
Looking for Lake Murray gifts for your friends and family this holiday season? Look no
further! The Lake Murray Country Gift Shop has you covered with Lake Murray
merchandise ranging from t-shirts to home decor and more! You don’t want to miss your
chance to save 20% off this year’s newest ornaments and seasonal décor – they always
sell out fast! Tickets for Taste of Lake Murray 2025 will be available for purchase at the
Visitors Center and at LakeMurrayCountry.com.

Lake Murray Country Visitors Center. Our staff can provide you with information and
brochures on the region's attractions, hotels, events, dining, recreation, relocation, and
much more. Learn about Lake Murray’s history, the original construction of the dam,
and view real artifacts found in the region. Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday
(9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.), Friday (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.), and Sunday
(11 a.m. – 2 p.m.).
The Lake Murray Country Visitors Center will be closed in observance of:
❖ Thanksgiving: Nov. 27 (closing at noon), Nov. 28 – Nov. 29
❖ Christmas: Dec. 24 – 26
❖ New Years: Dec. 31 – Jan. 1
The Annual Christmas Light Boat Parade on Lake Murray will not take place this year
due to the construction at the dam/towers. The Lake Murray Country Visitors Center
