Cayce Police Department features identity fraud suspect for their Wanted Wednesday post this week

Cayce, SC 10/05/2022 (Paul Kirby) – This week, the Cayce Police Department is featuring an identity fraud suspect for their Wanted Wednesday campaign. The idea behind Wanted Wednesday is to get the community involved in tracking down people they have arrest warrants for, but the police have been unable to serve.

Today, their featured fugitive is Tamekia Latasha Bell. She is 34-year-old, and currently, the police do not have a valid address for her. Bell is Black with black hair and deep brown eyes. She is 5’05” tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds.

On October 2, 2022, Finan entered a bank in the City of Cayce. She tried to use the victim’s name and social security number to open an account. Luckily, the bank’s employees were sharp and caught this before she could complete the transaction before any real extensive damage was done. After investigators presented the evidence, they had gathered to a judge, a warrant was issued for Bell’s arrest.

If you know Bell, or have any idea where she might be, CPD ask that you make tips through CRIME STOPPERS. You can do that on their website at www.midlandscrimestoppers.com, through their FREE P3 app available in any app store, or by calling them at 1-888-CRIME SC (1-888-274-6372).
