Cayce, SC 12/04/2020 - Brookland-Cayce High School will host 16 basketball teams December 26-29 for the annual Cayce Roundball Classic tournament.
The event, in its fifth year, will be held in the Lexington Two high school’s arena. The teams for the Classic, considered among the premier high school basketball tournaments, include defending State Champions, Division 1 and 2 college signees, and State Champion coaches.
“The Cayce Roundball Classic has grown to one of the best tournaments in the Southeast,” said Robert Wells, basketball coach at Brookland-Cayce High School and the tournament’s director. “The competition, hospitality, and high level of social media make this event something special.”
The four-day tournament, which draws fans from around the state, has two brackets (American, National) and two champions.

The host Bearcats will play their first game of the tournament on December 27 vs. Hammond School at 8:30 p.m.

Attendees will be required to go through a security screening before entering the arena, and only clear bags will be allowed in the arena during the tournament; get the details on size requirements here.
