West Columbia, SC 02/06/2025 - Airport High School recently was a host site for one of Clemson University's STEM Saturday events. This provided opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math to more than 100 K-12 students and families. Clemson’s free STEM events let participants engage in hands-on activities and perform experiments relevant to today’s STEM industries. Participants at Airport High School's event built models of traffic lights, city grids, and flashlights while studying how electricity flows through circuits to power our cities. Integer Technologies LLC and Benedict College sponsored Clemson’s STEM Saturday at Airport and answered student questions about college and career paths in the field.
