Congaree Elementary 5th graders put on history museum for younger students

South Congaree, SC 03/07/2023 - Fifth-graders at Congaree Elementary school found a creative way to share information about some famous people in history recently. After researching athletes including Jackie Robinson, Venus and Serena Williams, explorers Lewis and Clark, inventors Albert Einstein, the Wright Brothers, and former President Abraham Lincoln, the fifth-grade students dressed up like the people they researched and presented a Wax Museum. The Wax Museum was visited throughout the school day by second, third, and fourth-graders, along with some of the school’s families.

The event was put together by Congaree Elementary educators Lorri Wood, Katianne Goodale, Kyrsten Hall, Seth Hall, and Veronica Evans.
