"We are thrilled to bring back this great event that bridges the Columbia and West Columbia communities for a wonderful evening of dining and socializing over the Congaree River." said Steve Cohen of Carolina Together, the sponsor of the Gervais Street Bridge Dinner. "The bridge dinner brings awareness to our incredible rivers and the proceeds go to help so many deserving non-profit organizations."
The return of the bridge dinner comes with new leadership that is familiar. Cohen said Erin Curtis will act as Special Advisor for the return of the bridge dinner. She was director of the event from 2016 thru 2019. Erin will serve as a Special Advisor for 2025 bridge dinner," Cohen said. "She will take over as Executive Director beginning in 2026."
The Gervais Street Bridge Dinner is the largest dinner in Columbia. It is a three-course, sunset supper atop the most iconic landmark in the area. It has become a much-anticipated tradition that is sold out every year. It was last held in November of 2023. Â
