Lexington, SC 03/06/2025 - The Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center recently announced that The Big Time Band will be the featured entertainment for this year’s highly anticipated event, Dining on the Dam, presented by Palmetto Renovations of Columbia, Inc. This dynamic group, boasting a versatile repertoire and high energy performances, will keep guests dancing and entertained throughout the night. It promises to be an unforgettable evening against the stunning backdrop of scenic Lake Murray.
Dining on the Dam is Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., and connects guests from the Midlands and beyond, attracting over 1,200 attendees. In addition to live entertainment from The Big Time Band, guests will also enjoy delicious food from Southern Way Catering and have a unique opportunity to gather on the historic Lake Murray Dam. The top portion of the Lake Murray Dam, including the walkway, will be completely closed to vehicular and foot traffic, beginning Sunday, April 6 at 7:00 a.m. Traffic traveling through the area will be routed to the lower level of the dam. Parking is available for attendees on both sides of the dam, in the Dominion Energy Public Parks, as well as two alternative locations. Shuttles will transport attendees from these parking lots to the entrance of the event.
