Lexington, SC 09/26/2022 (Paul Kirby) – The Lexington County Democratic Party has scheduled a Meet the Candidates event in early October. According to the Party, it will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Palmetto Collegiate Institute at 104 Hendrix Street, Lexington. The featured guest speaker will be Lessie Price with the SC Democratic Party (SCDP). Candidates who will be attendance include Talley Casey, Lt. Governor, Judd Larkins, US Congress District 2, Peggy Butler, SC Secretary of State, Lisa Ellis, SC Superintendent of Education, and Representative Krystle Matthews, U.S. Senate.
