Pine Grove, SC 09/20/2024 (Paul Kirby) – Firefighters from the Lexington County Fire Service, the West Columbia Fire Department, Lexington County EMS, and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department fought a working structure fire in the 100 block of Greenway Court in the Brookdale neighborhood Thursday. This is off Bradley Drive in the Pine Grove area of Lexington County.
When firefighters arrived, the house was well involved in fire. Crews pulled multiple attack lines off their trucks and aggressively attacked the blaze. Working together, the teams knocked the fire out quickly, however it took them several hours to search for hot spots and perform salvage and overhaul operations.
Lexington County has not released the cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported.
