West Columbia, SC 06/10/2022 (Paul Kirby) - Lexington School District Two is offering a number of athletic and creative summer camps open to area youths. They will be held at some of the district’s campuses which are located across the West Columbia, Cayce, Springdale, and South Congaree areas.
Here is a sampling of camps in June and July:
LEXINGTON TWO INNOVATION CENTER
All camps are $90 and scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon June 21-23 at the Innovation Center. Email the contacts below or call the center at (803) 936-5550.
Animation & Multimedia Camp: For sixth- through ninth-graders. Email areamer@lex2.org
Engineering Camp: For rising seventh- through ninth-graders. Email areamer@lex2.org

BROOKLAND-CAYCE HIGH SCHOOL
Both camps will be held on the school campus.
Volleyball Youth Camp: 9 a.m.-noon June 27-30. Setting, passing, serving, spiking. Ages 6-12; $100. cpollock@lex2.org or rtwiggs@lex2.org
Bearkitten Cheer Camp: 9 a.m.-noon July 12-14. Cheers, dances, jumps, basic stunt skills. Ages 3-12; $75. Email spollard@lex2.org
AIRPORT HIGH SCHOOL
Both camps will be held on the school campus.
Basketball Camp: Noon-3 p.m. June 27-29. Airport boys’ and girls’ basketball players will provide skills work with participants. Ages 6-14; $50. Email robdavis@lex2.org or camick@lex2.org
Around the World with Airport Cheer: 9 a.m.-11:45 a.m. June 27-30. Ages 4-12; $80 (includes snack and T-shirt). Email jjgooding@lex2.org
