Lexington, SC 09/13/2022 (Paul Kirby) – Lexington County is planning a 911 Communications Job Fair for Wednesday, September 21, 2022. It will run from 8 a.m. until 12 noon and break until 4:00 p.m. Once it resumes at 4:00 p.m., the Job Fair will resume and continue until 6:00 p.m. It will be held at 432 Ball Park Road in Lexington.
They are looking to fill several positions. The job of 911 Call Taker has an annual salary range and scheduled overtime pay of $30,437- $32,883 per year. The job of 911 Dispatcher has an annual salary range and scheduled overtime pay that equals $34,850 - $37,656 per year. These jobs offer a number of great benefits including paid vacation and sick leave, a number of optional plans through the County’s insurance program, FREE access to the County’s Health and Wellness Center, education incentives, holiday pay, and more. They are also offering a $5,000 Hiring Incentive.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or a GED. They must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, a certified SLED background check, and a SCDMV driving record check.
