Lexington Medical Center announces new Orthopedic and Sport Medicine Practice

West Columbia, SC 07/18/2022 – The management of Lexington Medical Center announced Monday that the board-certified physicians, advanced practice providers and highly skilled staff at Lexington Orthopedics and Southeastern Orthopedic and Sports Medicine are joining together to form a new practice called Lexington Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.


To better serve patients throughout the Midlands, the new practice has five convenient locations in Chapin, Northeast Columbia, Irmo, Lexington and West Columbia.

The highly specialized team of 12 physicians and five advanced practice providers offers comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine services to patients, providing exceptional treatment plans and consultation. The practice will add two additional physicians this summer.


Services include arthritis and joint pain management, diagnostic imaging, fracture care, physical rehabilitation and occupational therapy, surgery, traumatology and joint injections.
