Lexington, SC 03/11/2024 (Paul Kirby) - Last weekend, officers with the Lexington Police Department stopped a car for a displaying a license plate that expired in 2022. Patrol Division officers searched the car and located a number of more serious violations.
Eventually, the driver was arrested for being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Taking Contraband into the County Jail (Cocaine), Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The suspect, who was not identified, was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center where he faced a bond hearing.
