Lexington, SC 06/05/2024 (Paul Kirby) – A detective with the Lexington Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a man they think stole a lawnmower from Lowe’s. Detective Davis has been assigned to the case and is sharing information with the community in hopes of solving this crime.
Detective Davis says that on May 15, 2024, the pictured suspect was dropped off at the entrance of Lowe's Home Improvement located at 5412 Sunset Boulevard. The vehicle he got out of was a black Dodge Caravan with no license plate. He made his way over to the lawn and garden equipment where he selected a Recycler Lawn Mower valued at $549.00. He then exited the business without paying.
