Lexington, SC 07/06/2021n(Paul Kirby) – Chief Terrence Green of the Lexington Police Department said Tuesday his investigators are still trying to learn the whereabouts of a young man who fired a weapon into a home in the town recently. According to the chief, detectives have issued warrants for Roosevelt Erik Garway, Jr., age 19 of Lexington, for Attempted Murder, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime, Discharging a Firearm at an Occupied Dwelling, and Criminal Conspiracy.
According to the police, Garway shot into a home in the 300 block of Coventry Lakes Drive on Monday, June 28, 2021. He was riding in a car at the time and the driver of the car, Patrick Riley Prewitt, 19, of Lexington, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon, June 29, 2021, in connection with the incident. Prewitt was charged with Criminal Conspiracy.
