Lexington Police Department seeking the public’s help identifying suspect who fled traffic stop

Lexington, SC 04/08/2025 - The Lexington Police Department needs help identifying this subject who is alleged to have been involved in attempt to evade law enforcement by failing to stop for blue lights on March 26, 2025. This happened on Augusta Road (US Hwy1) in the Town of Lexington.


According to police, an officer attempted to stop the subject, who was driving a Nissan Sentra, for speeding. The subject drove into a nearby neighborhood. He then drove around several police vehicles before fleeing.

Our policy on vehicle pursuits does not allow officers to pursue a vehicle if the offence is a simple speeding violation.
