Lexington police detectives continue to ask the public for help locating a 14-year-old runaway

Lexington, SC 01/13/2025 (Paul Kirby) – Detectives with the Lexington Police Department are continuing to search for 14-year-old Khalil Shaw who ran away from his home on January 7, 2025. Since the day he went missing, police have asked the community to help in their search for him.


After leaving home on Railroad Avenue in the town, Shaw contacted his parents by phone. He refuses to tell them where he is, and he will not come home.

Detectives say that Shaw is 5'5” tall and weighs 110 pounds. He was last seen wearing black pants, a black shirt, and a black hoodie, with red flip flops.
