West Columbia, SC 12/03/2024 - Lexington Two students are ready to spread some holiday cheer, performing holiday music and dance in schools and at community events.
Here is a sampling of upcoming events, including community holiday favorites where Lexington Two students will be performing. Admission is free to events listed here at Lexington Two schools and the district’s Performing Arts Center, and the public is welcome.
Tuesday, December 3
Busbee Creative Arts Academy Orchestra Christmas/Winter Concert: 6 p.m. in the auditorium.
Thursday, December 5
Cayce Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony: Look for performances by the Busbee Creative Arts Academy band and chorus. 6 p.m. event start at Cayce City Hall.
Friday, December 6
Airport High School Winter Fest: 6-8 p.m., cafeteria and various hallways. Chorus and orchestra will perform. Community families are invited.
West Columbia Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony: Look for Saluda River Academy for the Arts and Busbee Creative Arts Academy dance and chorus performances. 6:30 p.m. event start at City Hall.
Saturday, December 7
Town of Pine Ridge Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Program: Pine Ridge Middle School band and Airport High School chorus and band will perform. 4 p.m. event start at 101 Pine Ridge Drive.
Tuesday, December 10
Airport High School Winter Chorus Concert: 6 p.m. in the auditorium.
Brookland-Cayce High School Winter Wonderland: 5-6:30 p.m. Community families are invited.
Pine Ridge Middle Winter Fine Arts Festival: Chorus, band, and student art show. 6-7:30 p.m. at the Lexington Two Performing Arts Center.
Thursday, December 12
Airport High School Winter Band Concert: 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
Busbee Creative Arts Academy Winter Band Concert/Jingle Bell Rock Out: 6:30 p.m. at the Lexington Two Performing Arts Center.
Brookland-Cayce High School Christmas Concert: 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
Wood Elementary Winter Chorus Concert: 5 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Saturday, December 14
Airport High School Honors Chorus and Pine Ridge Middle School Chorus Performance: Appearing at the Holiday House Tours in downtown Columbia, 11:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. time frame.
Cayce-West Columbia Holiday Parade of Lights: Airport High School Marching Band and Saluda River Academy for the Arts Showstoppers Dance Team and Bobcat Beats will perform. Parade starts at 5:30 p.m.
Town of South Congaree Christmas Parade: Airport High School marching band to perform. 10 a.m. parade start, 669 Main Street.
Tuesday, December 17
Fulmer Middle Winter Band Concert: 6 p.m. at the Lexington Two Performing Arts Center.
Northside Middle School Winter Concert: Band, chorus, and orchestra will perform.
6-7:30 p.m. in the gym and cafeteria.
Saluda River Academy for the Arts Kindergarten and First Grade Winter Performance: 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Wednesday, December 18
Northside Middle School Winter Music Assembly: Band, chorus, and orchestra will perform. 8:30 a.m. in the gym.
Thursday, December 19
Airport High School Winter Orchestra Concert: 7 p.m. at the Lexington Two Performing Arts Center.
Springdale Elementary School First Grade Holiday Performance: 8-9 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Friday, December 20
Springdale Elementary Chorus Winter Sing-a-Long: 8:30 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. in the cafeteria.
