Pelion police officers looking to identify School Bus joyriders

Pelion, SC 03/31/2025 - The Pelion Police Department requests your help in identifying the following Vehicle Tampering/Property Trespassing Suspects:


On Saturday, March 29th, 3 teens or young adults, who were Black Male suspects were caught on video surveillance at 510 Main Street, Pelion High School Bus lot. The suspects tampered with several school buses. The suspects had no permission to be on the property. They got on one bus, covered the cameras, and drove it around the lot for 30 minutes. They then removed the covering from the cameras, leaving the lot in 2 separate vehicles. The suspects had a bus key of their own.

One male suspect, shown in the pictures, was wearing a dark color sweatshirt with "YOSEMITE, CALIFORNIA on the front. He wore dark shorts with "PINK FLAMINGOS" designs on them. He wore white socks and crocs footwear. A side faded haircut style with light complexion. He carried a grey bookbag.


The other two suspects were of a slim build and had dark complexions. One wore white shorts, the other wore dark color shorts, both with a head covering.


Suspects drove 2 vehicles (pictured) an older model Chrysler 300 with chrome spoke rims and a newer style Nissan Sentra or Altima.
