South Congaree Police Department hoping the public can identify a suspect that trespassed and attempted to steal a motorcycle

South Congaree, SC 03/11/2025 (Paul Kirby) – Officers with the South Congaree Police Department are asking the public if they recognize a suspect who trespassed on private property and attempted to steal a motorcycle from a business in town. This all happened at Columbia Auto Parts at 869 Skyview Drive off Pine Street on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

According to the police, the suspect is a white male that was wearing a black and white truckers’ style cap, dark pant, dark jacket, and a tan pair of shoes. He was carrying a tan backpack and walked from the scene when he realized he had been spotted by a good Samaritan who snapped his picture around 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
