Springdale, SC 08/25/2021 (Paul Kirby) - The Town of Springdale is seeking committed applicants who have an interest in the quality of life in the Town of Springdale, SC. Currently, the town is looking to fill two vacant positions on their Design Review Board.
The Design Review Board issues Certificates of Appropriateness for all new development and alterations to the exterior appearance of existing buildings that are located in the Design Overlay District. Simply put, the members of this Board look at designs that have been submitted for the exterior of buildings, developments, or remodeling projects and building additions to make sure they meet the standard for appearance in certain areas of the town. This ensures that buildings match the aesthetics of the other properties around them and do not clash with surrounding structures.
