Gaston, SC 09/12/2024 (Paul Kirby) – SC state troopers have say that one person died in a wreck on Fish Hatchery Road at Kimmie Drive Wednesday afternoon. This collision happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. Troopers say that there was just one person in the car, and they died at the scene.
According to the SC Highway Patrol, the driver of the car lost control, left the roadway, struck a highway sign and then hit a tree. The twisted vehicle came to rest there.
Law enforcement, the fire service, and Lexington County EMS responded and closed Fish Hatchery Road for some time as the patrol investigated this collision. They are being assisted by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.
