The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales are set to make their first ever appearance in the Town of Lexington

Lexington, SC 04/04/2023 - The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales are set to make their first ever appearance in the Town of Lexington.

On Thursday, April 25 at 11:30 a.m., the horses will parade down Main Street, distributing cases of beer to businesses along the route.

The Clydesdales date back to April of 1933 when a six-horse hitch was presented as a gift to August A. Busch, Sr., by his sons, to celebrate the repeal of Prohibition.

Today, the Clydesdales interact with millions of people each year to create a one-of-a-kind experience that generates lifelong memories.

The Clydesdales will use the route of Main Street to North Lake Drive to Butler Street to North Church Street back to Main Street.
