The Town of Irmo will be holding a national skateboarding event this weekend

Irmo, SC 03/27/2025 (Paul Kirby) – The Town of Irmo will be holding a national skateboarding event this weekend, March 28th and 29th, at Rawls Creek Park in the Town of Irmo. This park is located at 1113 Friarsgate Boulevard, Irmo, SC. The event called The Boardr Series is being presented by Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union.


According to its planners, this national skateboarding event is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy fun, community, and impressive skateboarding. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, you are incited to be a part of the excitement! Organizers urge spectators to bring a folding chair and stay awhile.


Food will be provided throughout the event from their Food Truck Lineup that includes Kona Ice of Irmo / Chapin, Kusina Filipina, and Sarah’s Rockin' Kitchen!

Parking for The Boardr Series event will be available at Rawls Creek Park (event location) and at Universal Outreach Church, located at 220 N. Royal Tower Drive. For your convenience, shuttle services will be operating between the church parking lot and Rawls Creek Park throughout the event.
