Town of Lexington has water main break off Corley Mill Road

Lexington, SC 12/11/2024 - Around noon on Tuesday, the Town of Lexington experienced a 12-inch water main break on Corley Mill Road that may affect water service. According to the town, the water remains safe to use.


Customers off Corley Mill Road, Hope Ferry Road, Mill Stream Road and Sunset Boulevard

may experience a drop in water pressure.

If customers are experiencing air in their lines, discoloration, white or cloudy water, they should

flush their internal plumbing by letting the faucet run until the issue is resolved.


The Utilities Department has successfully isolated the break and is working to fully restore

system pressure.
