Cayce Avenues Association Annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser
Trees can be pre-ordered by residents of the Cayce and West Columbia Avenues until Saturday, November 18. The tree cost this year is $22, and tree distribution will begin Thanksgiving afternoon, November 23, and ends Saturday morning, November 25. 40th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Sponsored by The Woman’s Club of Cayce
Proceeds from the sale of lights are given to God’s Helping Hands. The Woman’s Club also sponsors the “Cayce Cares” food drive and asks that you bring canned goods and non-perishables for God’s Helping Hands. The event will include a community reception and is free to the
public.

Carols Along the Riverwalk Cayce Riverwalk Park
Friday, December 1, 6:30 PM – 8 PM
N Avenue Entrance, Riverwalk Pavilion. Parking at Brookland-Cayce High School, free trolley rides to the Riverwalk. The sounds of Christmas abound at the Cayce Riverwalk Park where several area church choirs and local musicians will be located throughout the first half mile of the park. Visitors can wander from group to group enjoying holiday musical selections. The Riverwalk will be lighted with luminaries and refreshments will be served free of charge.

Christmas Traditions at Cayce Historical Museum’s Annual Holiday Open House
Saturday, December 2, 6 PM
The sights, sounds and tastes of Christmas abound at the Museum’s 28th annual Christmas Traditions Holiday Open House. Each room of the Museum will be decorated with trees and crafts from the 18th Century to present. The Open House will also feature live entertainment, docents dressed in period attire, and light refreshments.

Town of Chapin will hold its annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony Sunday, December 3, beginning with a reception in the Community Room at 4:00 pm at Chapin Town Hall (157 NW Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036).
There will be holiday music, caroling by the children’s choir from Chapin United Methodist Church, hot chocolate and cookies, and a reading of the holiday classic A Visit from St. Nicholas, more commonly known as “Twas the Night before Christmas.” Then everyone will go outside to enjoy the lighting of the town’s official Christmas tree at approximately 5:15 pm.
